Bio

The creative industries are about creating demand through the story you tell. This is mine.

Music has always been a part of my life - my first memory as a boy is doing knee slides across the lounge’s carpet to 80s Glam Rock! I learnt instruments growing up but mostly as a hobby. I first decided to follow the politics route.

I gained many valuable skills from working at Parliament; seeing how image and perception can work was particularly interesting. It gave me a sharp eye for detail though, and clear oral and written communication. These have both been very useful skills since I moved into the music industry.

I started as a musician, playing solo and in bands, before moving behind the scenes. I like being able to combine the skills from my Parliamentary and music careers; the functional and the creative. It puts me in a unique position to be able to help creatives get their work out to the world.

I’ve worked on projects for promoting shows, releasing songs, and producing music videos. I’ve also been involved in creative enterprise and accounting. Surf through my website for more on some of the projects I’ve worked on.

My key learning is that connections are important, and it’s hard not to connect with a story told well. If you’ve got a story to tell, I’d love to hear from you. Get in touch below to say hello!
